Winners of the 2018 World Spa Awards were revealed at the St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, a private island in the southern Dhaalu Atoll in the Maldives.
Those who took home awards on the night included The Lanesborough Club & Spa – England’s Best Hotel Spa, Anantara Spa – World’s Best Hotel Spa Brand, Armani Hotel Dubai – World’s Best Hotel Spa and Lanserhof Tegernsee – World’s Best Medical Spa.
Australia’s Gaia Retreat & Spa was crowned World’s Best Day Spa while The Temple House in Chengdu, China was named Asia’s Best Wellness Retreat. Successful brands included Natura Bissé, named World’s Best Spa Brand, and Aromatherapy Associates, named World’s Best Aromatherapy Brand.
Mii amo won North America’s Best Wellness Retreat and Switzerland’s Bürgenstock Hotel gained recognition as the World’s Best New Hotel Spa.
In a special category, Erich Schulte, founder of QMS Medicosmetics, was awarded 2018 World Spa Awards Spa Pioneer for his work advancing the science of skincare.
