Hiddenwell is expanding its wellness offering with a series of new experiences across its Hoar Cross Hall and Eden Hall spa destinations, including a Japanese Head Spa, an immersive Sound Sanctuary and new thermal journeys.
The additions are being introduced across late summer and autumn, extending the spas’ existing treatment and thermal facilities into areas including scalp care, immersive sound and contrast-based thermal experiences.
At Hoar Cross Hall in Staffordshire, the new Sound Sanctuary is already available. The dedicated relaxation space features around 30 beds and uses an immersive soundscape developed specifically for the spa, with nature-inspired audio designed to create a quieter environment for rest.
The Sound Sanctuary is included within Hoar Cross Hall’s Spa Days and Spa Stays.
Also now available at Hoar Cross Hall is a 60-minute Japanese Head Spa, bringing a treatment focused on scalp and hair care to the spa’s treatment menu.
The treatment combines scalp cleansing and exfoliation with water therapy using a specialist Water Halo, followed by scalp massage. Hoar Cross Hall has partnered with Moroccanoil for the treatment, incorporating products from the brand’s scalp and haircare range alongside the treatment sequence.
The Japanese Head Spa is priced at £95 for 60 minutes.
A further addition, The Element Experience, will launch at Hoar Cross Hall from 5 September. The four-stage thermal journey is based around the elements of earth, water, air and fire, with guests moving between warming, hot, cooling and relaxation stages.
The experience begins with a choice of Infrared or Himalayan Salt Sauna before moving into a Finnish Sauna or Crystal-infused Steam Chamber. Guests then cool down using a Cold Water Drench or Bucket and Drench Showers before moving into a relaxation period.
The Element Experience will be included within Hoar Cross Hall’s Spa Days and Spa Stays.
A separate version of the experience will launch at Eden Hall in Nottinghamshire on 3 October, using the spa’s existing spaces and facilities to create a thermal journey specific to the destination.
The Eden Hall version will incorporate an Infrared Heat Sanctuary, Himalayan Salt Sauna and Herbal Lounge, alongside a Cold Water Drench and Reflexology Foot Spas. The experience is designed around moving between heat, cooling and restorative spaces at an unhurried pace.
At Eden Hall, The Element Experience will be included within Spa Days.
The three launches reflect a broader expansion of the experiences available across Hiddenwell’s two destinations, with the group introducing more options that sit alongside conventional spa treatments.
Ed Law, CEO at Hiddenwell, said the development had been informed by changing expectations around wellness and the demand for experiences that offer alternatives to traditional treatments.
“Guests are looking beyond the traditional treatment menu for immersive experiences that allow them to engage their senses, slow down and find their own way to switch off,” he said.
The new experiences will form part of Hiddenwell’s ongoing development of Hoar Cross Hall and Eden Hall, with each destination receiving treatments and facilities adapted to its existing environment.
