Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf and Spa in Suffolk has implemented the innovative Xeros washing system for its laundry.
Described as a 'revolutionary washing system' for towels, robes and linens, the Xeros system uses polymer bead cleaning technology to provide the dual benefits of being environmentally friendly while delivering gentle, but superior cleaning when compared with traditional aqueous washers.
Steven Miles, housekeeping manager at Stoke by Nayland Hotel Golf and Spa said: “As soon as I found out that the Xeros system used up to 80% less water and 50% less energy and detergent than conventional machines, I was very interested. Xeros leaves my towels and linens looking like new after every wash – even aromatherapy treatment oils are removed easily from towels used in the spa.”
