North East spa set to offer revolutionary training system backed by Alan Shearer
The Spa at Ramside, at Ramside Hall Hotel in County Durham, is now offering Speedflex training in its gym.
Described as high-intensity training (HIIT) with a difference, Speedflex offers a combination of cardio and resistance training in a session which leaves little – and often no – post-exercise soreness. This is because the system uses the client’s body and natural force as opposed to weights, meaning users train to their best personal level without over exerting themselves.
Championed by former England Captain Alan Shearer, along with TV presenter Ben Shephard, Speedflex helps users achieve fitness goals quickly, and is ideal for people with busy lives who don’t have several hours a week to devote to working out.
‘We are absolutely delighted to have our own Speedflex system here at the Spa at Ramside,’ says Spa Director Joanne Green. ‘There has been such a buzz about the system.
