Wellness travel platform SHARE is marking its first year with the launch of SHARE Rewards and a new series of educational workshops exploring burnout and the role of wellness travel in supporting recovery.
The B2B platform, founded by luxury hospitality specialist Ernestina Bertarini, now has 30 hotel partners and 700 travel advisors signed up. Its latest developments are focused on expanding education and engagement between advisors and wellness properties. SHARE Rewards has been introduced as a new programme recognising advisor engagement across learning, networking, bookings and content sharing. Participants can unlock benefits and opportunities as they become more active within the SHARE community.
The platform has also partnered with Duncan So, founder of The Burnout Clinic, to deliver a four-part online workshop series examining burnout and its relevance to wellness travel.
The programme is intended to help travel advisors develop a better understanding of burnout, recognise some of the signs in clients and themselves, and consider how different wellness experiences may support individual needs. The workshops will cover the fundamentals of burnout recovery, designing travel experiences around recovery, the continuum of care and the commercial considerations surrounding burnout and wellbeing.
The programme also addresses the boundaries of the advisor role, with the sessions intended to help participants recognise when clients may require support beyond the scope of travel and wellness advice.
Bertarini said the partnership reflected the changing nature of wellness and the need for advisors to continue developing their knowledge.
“Burnout isn’t a novelty – it’s here to stay – and this partnership gives advisors the opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of an increasingly relevant issue,” she said.
The four workshops are The Burnout Traveller on 1 October 2026, Designing for Recovery on 5 November, The Continuum of Care on 17 December and The Business of It on 4 February 2027.
Sessions are priced at £49 individually or £169 for the four-part series.
SHARE is also planning the launch of its Inner Circle, an invitation-only group of 20 senior wellness travel advisors. The initiative is intended to give experienced advisors access to hotelier experiences, familiarisation trips, education and networking opportunities, while providing a forum for them to contribute to wider discussions around the development of wellness travel.
The Inner Circle forms part of SHARE’s wider aim of building stronger relationships between travel advisors and wellness properties, while giving advisors greater access to industry knowledge and experiences.
The launch of SHARE Rewards and the Burnout Clinic workshops represents the next stage in the platform’s development following its first year, with further education, networking and industry initiatives planned for the coming months.
