CIDESCO launches international guide to setting up a beauty salon

CIDESCO, the world standard for beauty and spa therapy, has teamed up with some of the leaders in the global industry to provide a free guide to setting up a beauty salon.

Setting up a salon is many therapists’ dream; Professional Beauty research revealed that 40% of people state opening a salon is their ultimate goal as a beauty therapist. But running a salon can be fraught with obstacles. Business skills are essential so CIDESCO has created a free downloadable guide, which gathers advice from successful global business owners including Dr Vera Zec, Chairperson of CIDESCO Serbia, American salon owner and Board Member of The Cosmetologists Chicago, Chris Damolaris, and Lydia Safarti, founder of Repêchage.

The guide highlights key subjects such as location, brand, legislations and recruitment to provide a starting point in identifying the ‘make or breaks’ of a salon business.
