Each application will be judged on academic/professional achievement, financial need, and an expressed commitment in pursuing further a career in the spa industry. To register their interest, applicants must fill out an application form which can be requested directly from the Spa Business Education head office.
The scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis and covers all course material and feedback by one of the program’s mentors. With a maximum time of 6 months, the advised time period to complete the program, students are expected to show their dedication to the course by studying continuously and submitting assignments within the required timeline.
Applications for the course close on the 28th March with the selection process being made by the Educational Board of Spa Business Education the following week.
The online comprehensive spa management course offers students the chance to study anytime, from anywhere and with world-class experts in spa development. With a curriculum based on real-life case studies, created and taught by a team of industry pioneers and leading experts, the Spa Business Education program is based on expertise cultivated from a wealth of industry experience. Existing modules include Orientation to Spa Business Education, Marketing and Public Relations, Leadership and Strategic Planning, Finance, Human Resources, Operations & Service Quality Management Excellence and Business Plan.
Course mentor Nikos Kouremenos says “We’re thrilled to be able to offer a scholarship to a spa and wellness specialist, someone who may not have been able to have had the chance to complete the course otherwise. Education is a powerful tool, particularly in an ever-changing industry such as spa and wellness. This is a first for Spa Business Education, and upon the scholarships success, we hope to continue this in the future.”
