The University of Derby has partnered with the London College of Beauty Therapy (LCBT) to give the College’s students access to an International Spa Management Foundation degree.
The course, starting in September 2018, is designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to work in managerial positions across the spa industry.
Students will gain a thorough understanding of the spa environment while learning about treatments and therapies as well as how to manage people, business strategy, marketing and communications, sales and promotions.
Isobel Stockdale, deputy head of Hotel, Resort and Spa Management at the University of Derby, says: “This is an exciting partnership for us that will provide excellent opportunities to students.”
