French marine skincare brand Phytomer has appointed spa industry consultants Clair Davidson and Sam Humby Frost to support the next stage of its growth across the UK and Ireland.
Working alongside managing director Fiona Peerless, the pair will focus on developing new spa partnerships, strengthening existing relationships and providing commercial support to spa operators as the company relaunches its UK and Irish business.
The move reflects a renewed long-term commitment to what Phytomer describes as one of the world's most respected spa markets. The family-owned company, founded in Brittany in 1972, already partners with a number of leading properties in the region, including Old Course Hotel St Andrews, Government House, Stobo Castle and the Royal Yacht Club.
Tristan Lagarde, who leads the third-generation business alongside Mathilde Gédouin-Lagarde, said the company's priority is to build lasting partnerships rather than pursue growth for its own sake.
"We believe the best relationships are built over time through trust, shared ambition and supporting each other to create exceptional guest experiences," he said.
Phytomer operates in more than 80 countries and is present in over 10,000 spas worldwide. The company is also recognised for its environmental credentials, having achieved EcoVadis Platinum status, placing it among the top one per cent of businesses assessed for sustainability.
