Medik8 has expanded its cleansing portfolio with the launch of Total Moisture Daily Cleansing Gel, a hydration-focused formula developed to cleanse the skin while supporting barrier function and the skin microbiome.
Designed for daily use, the gel-to-foam cleanser removes makeup, sunscreen and impurities while helping to maintain hydration, reflecting the growing focus on barrier-first skincare within both professional treatments and homecare routines.
Central to the formulation is Medik8's Smart Surfactant System™, a blend of mild cleansing agents designed to remove impurities while minimising disruption to the skin barrier. The cleanser also incorporates Moisture Magnets™, which help retain moisture during and after cleansing, alongside prebiotic inulin to support the skin's natural microbiome.
Additional ingredients include fermented rice extract, selected for its amino acid content and skin-conditioning properties.
