Meditation at The Midland


Manchester’s Spa at The Midland has launched a series of guided meditation sessions. Taking place in the spa’s relaxation room, the sessions are designed to help guests get the most out of their treatments, by ensuring they are fully relaxed beforehand.

 

Each session lasts 20 minutes and guests can choose between two recordings. The first guides customers through a series of visualisations, breathing techniques and body scanning, while the second prompts them to imagine themselves in a calm and serene place, using therapeutic sounds and music to calm the nerves and relieve anxiety.

 

Helena Grzesk, director of The Spa, says: “Our new guided meditation sessions will allow city dwellers and spa day guests to switch off and let go of any worry or stress.”
