Aye Mon has taken on the newly created role of Group Spa Director at Fusion Resorts, as the wellness-inspired hospitality group announces new sites for development.
Famous for launching the first all-spa-inclusive resorts in Southeast Asia, Fusion has appointed Aye Mon to look after its wellness concept and to oversee expansion within its primary market, Vietnam.
Mon joined Fusion in 2016, as the spa director of the company’s Cam Ranh resort. Previous to that, Mon worked with Sofitel, Anantara and InterContinental hospitality groups.
As Group Spa Director, Mon will bring valuable pre-opening spa experience to Fusion, at a time when the company is looking to expand its all-spa-inclusive resorts in Vietnam. Currently, the group is approaching 30,000 spa treatments per month in its current portfolio. This is set to increase, with the opening of new wellness resorts in Hoi An, Vung Tau, Quy Nhon, and Quang Binh as well as Da Nang which opens in 2020.
