The travel site Expedia has created an organic spa finder, which highlights wellness experiences across the continent.
The interactive organic spa finder includes details of leading organic spas throughout Europe, with information on facilities, treatments and points of interest in the surrounding areas.
The online map marks each destination spa with food or ingredient symbols, relating to the wellness experience available. The spas included in the map have been selected by Expedia. The service will be hosted on the group’s UK-based site.
An Expedia spokesperson says: “We’ve listed a selection of spas, each offering something special, from cultural spa experiences to innovative treatments using locally-sourced ingredients.”
Spas listed include the Caudalie Spa at the L’and Vineyards spa in Portugal, the Bernard Beer Spa in Prague, Czech Republic and Mallorca’s Son Brull hotel and spa, housed in an 18th-century monastery.
