Resort operator Champneys has extended its portfolio, with the acquisition of Eastwell Manor in Ashford, Kent.
The historic property includes 62 bedrooms and suites, two restaurants, a spa, a nine-hole golf course and a collection of leisure facilities.
Champneys will provide health and beauty services in line with its other health spa resorts.
Champneys owner Stephen Purdew says: “The acquisition of Eastwell Manor is a major milestone for the Champneys Group. As the original pioneers of health spa resorts in the UK we are delighted to be welcoming such a landmark property to the group. We are continuing to look at our future growth and with recent investments in our signature properties we are very excited about wellbeing in the UK.”
In addition to five resorts, Champneys also operate six city spas, a college, beauty courses at LCCA and a range of globally recognised products.
