David Harris to manage new Langley Hotel and Spa

The Langley, a Luxury Collection Hotel set to open in Buckinghamshire in late 2018, has appointed David Harris as its hotel manager.

The 41-room boutique hotel, owned and managed by City & Country Hotels, is currently undergoing a meticulous restoration. Originally built in 1756 and formerly a hunting lodge of the third Duke of Marlborough, the hotel will offer a world-class spa.

At 25,000sq ft, the spa will offer eight treatment rooms alongside a women’s only thermal area, a Cryotherapy Centre and VIP dip-pools.

Harris has 18 years’ experience within the hospitality industry and comes to The Langley from the position of operations manager at the Ashford International Hotel, part of The Q Hotels Group. In his role at The Langley, he will lead a team of 100.

Harris says: “I am very excited to join the The Langley ahead of its anticipated launch. It’s an incredible heritage project to be involved in; the meticulous restoration and design process is testament to the scale and ambition we have for The Langley and we are committed to offering an exceptional experience with second-to-none service when we open our doors to guests later this year.

“The Langley will create an elegant destination for both locals and international guests alike, with something for everyone, from the spa to the Matt Roberts personal training facility.”
