UK Spa Association Welcomes Two New Board Members

L: Laura Steventon  R: Caroline Mullen

The UK Spa Association is delighted to announce the appointment of Caroline Mullen, Director of Spa and Wellness at Schloss Roxburghe, and Laura Steventon, Commercial and Sales Leadership for Exclusive Beauty Ltd and Thalgo UK Ltd, to the UKSA Board, further strengthening the Association’s representation of the Scottish spa industry.

UKSA recently launched a search for a new Scotland Board Member through its Industry Jobs Board, and the response was exceptional. We were delighted by the volume of applications and, more importantly, by the calibre, experience and passion demonstrated by those who put themselves forward.

Following a thorough shortlisting and interview process, it quickly became clear that there was an opportunity to welcome not one, but two outstanding individuals to the Board.

Caroline and Laura bring a wealth of industry experience, fresh perspectives and a genuine passion for the future of the spa sector. Their appointments will enable UKSA to strengthen its connections across Scotland, support the continued growth and development of the industry, and ensure that the voices, views and needs of Scottish spas are represented at a national level.

Rachel Bevan, General Manager of the UK Spa Association, said: "We were absolutely blown away by the response to our Scotland Board Member vacancy. The standard of applications was exceptional, and it was fantastic to see so many passionate and experienced professionals wanting to play a part in shaping the future of our industry.

Following the interview process, we felt that appointing two Board Members was the right decision. Caroline and Laura both bring something different to the table, and we are incredibly excited to welcome them to the Board. I’m looking forward to working with them and seeing the positive impact they can have, not only in Scotland but across the wider UK spa industry."

The appointments mark another exciting step forward for the UKSA, strengthening regional representation and bring together industry leaders who are passionate about driving positive change across the spa community.
