Titanic Spa, the UK’s first eco-spa has elevated the practice of meditation with the introduction of ‘Underwater Meditation’ sessions.
These sessions, which will happen twice daily, immerse guests in a unique experience by playing carefully selected calming tracks through the water of its self-regulated swimming pool. One of the first wellness experiences of its kind, Titanic Spa’s clever underwater speakers will play deep, restorative sounds that can only be heard beneath the water’s surface.
Unlike conventional meditation settings confined to yoga studios or cosy rooms, Titanic Spa’s underwater meditation experience takes the art of meditation to new heights. Guests will experience a sense of weightlessness as they float on the water, with their ears just beneath the surface, allowing them to tune into the harmonic frequencies of the music.
Meditation has served as a powerful tool for healing for thousands of years, renowned for its ability to alleviate stress, aid physical relaxation, achieve inner peace and enhance mental clarity. This immersive experience at Titanic Spa offers an enhanced form of traditional meditation, ideal for those who find it harder to relax.
As the UK’s first eco-spa and a multi-award winning destination spa, Titanic Spa has been innovating and shaping the wellness industry since 2005, with cutting-edge eco-initiatives paving the way for other UK spas. The swimming pool and plunge pool use fresh, Yorkshire water that comes directly from the natural spring located 100m below ground level. Solar panels power the building, whilst clever Low U value windows help to keep the spa temperate year-round.
