Titanic Spa, the UK’s first eco-spa located in Huddersfield featured on Channel 4's ‘Celebrity Hunted’ on the 2nd February, helping one of the celebrity pairs evade discovery as part of a Stand Up To Cancer special.
Regular clients of Titanic Spa for over a decade, actor and Loose Women star, Denise Welch and her husband, contemporary artist, Lincoln Townley enjoyed some relaxation at Titanic Spa – after all, being on the run is stressful work!
Realising being on the run didn’t have to stop them from enjoying a bit of luxury, the couple enjoyed a treatment each from the spas skilled therapists, before they left to meet with Denise’s son, the 1975 front man, Matty Healy, who was performing at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Scotland.
Amy Burton, Operations Director at Titanic Spa said “It was such a thrill hosting Denise and Lincoln on their Celebrity Hunted journey. Stand Up for Cancer is a great cause, so we were pleased to help them further their journey for as long as possible. We look forward to welcoming them back under less stressful circumstances next time! We want to say a massive thank you to our staff for being such good sports and helping with the secrecy of the mission, as well as extending thanks to our guests who also kept their whereabouts under wraps”
