The UK Spa Association is delighted to announce the addition of Colin Farndon to the current UKSA board.
Colin, currently Leisure Director at The Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland, brings a wealth of industry experience and knowledge to the Association, having previously worked internationally in spa management and on consultancy projects, as well as extensively throughout the UK.
"I am thrilled, to join the UK Spa Association at this time and I’m looking forward to helping the UKSA to drive change in the industry.”
Bobby Griffiths, General Manager of the UK Spa Association, said, “With the addition of Colin to the board we gain not only a dedicated board member for Scotland but also someone whose vision is aligned with our long-term goals of making change in the industry through meaningful discussion and more importantly through credible action.”
The arrival of Colin also coincides with the welcome return of Jamie Pagan, to the board. Jamie, currently Area Director of Spa & Wellness for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, is a valuable addition to a strong board of Industry professionals who now lead the UKSA. Jamie brings extensive industry experience, having worked both in spa management and consultancy for many of the hospitality industries biggest names, including E’spa and Gleneagles, to name but a few.
Abi Selby, UKSA Chair, said, “A lot of hard work has gone in behind the scenes to get us to this point, but we are now seeing the results and gaining real momentum. There is still a lot to do but we are energised by the recent feedback and response from the industry.”
