The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel has announced the launch of its exclusive Wellness Retreat, set to take place from Friday 13th September to Sunday 15th September 2024. This transformative two-night retreat promises to be the ultimate escape, offering a carefully curated experience around nutrition and sleep, designed to rejuvenate both the body and mind.
The Wellness Retreat has been meticulously crafted to help guests relax and reconnect with themselves, focusing on the essential elements of nutrition and sleep to restore inner harmony. Participants will embark on a journey of self-care, supported by a range of activities and treatments aimed at fostering holistic wellbeing, including a nutrition workshop with a leading nutritionist, a Sleep Focus Session with an ESPA Specialist, Sound Bath Session, yoga and Pilates.
During their stay, guests will have access to the award-winning, 5-bubble rated spa, featuring a spacious hydrotherapy pool, rooftop hot tub, sauna, steam room, and experiential showers. A highlight of the retreat is the ESPA Modern Alchemy Ritual Treatments, which are only available at a select number of spas in the UK. Guests can choose between the Harmonising Ritual or the Empowering Ritual, each providing a deeply transformational and sensory journey.
While the retreat offers a structured program of wellness activities, ample free time is allocated for guests to explore the myriad facilities at Bedford Lodge Hotel. This includes the Health & Fitness Club, a pool area, and a fully equipped gymnasium. Guests can unwind at the Roxana bar or indulge in the culinary delights of the 2 AA rosette Squires Restaurant. The Wellness Retreat:
On Friday, 13th September 2024, guests will be greeted with a refreshing smoothie upon arrival at the spa. This will be followed by an enlightening Nutrition Workshop led by Nutrition Expert Amanda Prior, equipping attendees with the knowledge to maintain a healthy, balanced diet. After a ‘boost and nourish’ brunch, guests will have full access to the spa’s heat and hydrotherapy facilities. The afternoon includes a Sleep Focus Session with an ESPA Specialist, after which guests will check in to their luxury king bedrooms. The evening will feature a serene Sound Bath Session at the Fitness Studio, with the rest of the night free for personal enjoyment.
Saturday will begin with a Rise and Shine Yoga Class, followed by access to the spa’s heat and hydrotherapy facilities, including a 90-minute Modern Alchemy Treatment. Guests will enjoy a ‘balance and restore’ brunch before embarking on a guided walk through the beautiful Suffolk countryside. The day will conclude with a meditation session and an ‘Eat Well Dinner’ in Squires Restaurant.
Sunday will start with a Pilates session in the Fitness Studio, followed by breakfast in Squires Restaurant or a takeaway option. The retreat concludes with checkout and departure at 11:00am.
