In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Quay Hotel & Spa is proud to spotlight the Amethyst Massage, a specialised treatment designed in partnership with The Amethyst Trust. 

This thoughtful massage allows individuals currently undergoing cancer treatment, or those who have been treated in the past, to experience the therapeutic benefits of massage in a safe and nurturing environment.

What makes the Amethyst Massage particularly special is that it is delivered by specially trained oncology massage therapists. These therapists have undergone advanced training to ensure that every treatment is safe, personalised, and sensitive to the needs of those affected by cancer. Their expertise enables them to adapt techniques and pressure levels, ensuring that each guest receives the highest level of care and comfort.

The Amethyst Massage is a bespoke 1-hour ritual tailored to each guest’s unique needs, using either nurturing or awakening cold-pressed super berry massage oils. The treatment includes a 50-minute massage and an additional 10-minute consultation and aftercare session.
