Now in their third year, The Luxury Spa Edit awards nominees were selected by a distinguished panel of leading spa and wellness experts, including Susan Harmsworth MBE; Frances Geoghegan, Founder of Healing Holidays; Jeremy McCarthy, Global Spa and Wellness Consultant and former Group Director of Spa & Wellness at Mandarin Oriental; Kent Richards, Founder of Wellness World Global and former Global Corporate Spa and Wellness Operations Director at Six Senses; and Lisa Brown, CEO and Founder of The Luxury Spa Edit.
The judging panel also featured travel journalists, including former Tatler editors Gerri Gallagher and Issy von Simson, alongside Juliet Kinsman, Sustainability Editor at Condé Nast Traveller.
Award categories span global, regional, country and city-level spa hotels, wellness retreats and medical wellness clinics. The awards also recognise both established and emerging spa and wellness product brands.
Among the notable luxury hospitality brands recognised this year were Aman, Six Senses, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons and The Ritz-Carlton. Leading wellness destinations honoured included Kamalaya, SHA, Lanserhof, RAKxa, Chiva-Som, Chenot and Clinique La Prairie.
In the product categories, Elemis was named Most Iconic Spa Product Brand, while Ground Wellbeing received the award for Best Emerging Product Brand. La Prairie was recognised as Best Performance-Led Spa Brand, and Aromatherapy Associates was awarded Best Aromatherapy Spa Brand.
