The Cairndale Hotel & Spa in Dumfries has been crowned Best Spa in Scotland, confirming its place among the country’s top luxury wellness destinations only 18 months after launch.
The award follows the spa’s earlier achievement of earning Five Bubble Luxury status from The Good Spa Guide less than seven months after opening - a rating it continues to hold as Scotland’s only independent hotel and spa with this distinction.
Part of the hotel’s multi-million-pound transformation, supported by South of Scotland Enterprise, The Cairndale Spa has positioned Dumfries as a rising star in Scottish wellness tourism.
A two-storey luxury sanctuary, the spa features:
- A thermal suite with herbal and Himalayan salt saunas, eucalyptus steam room and herbal lounge
- A hydrotherapy pool with water beds and massage jets
- Brass Monkey ice bath
- Relaxation lounges, Spa Café & Lounge Bar
- Spa bedrooms and suites
- A full treatment floor with couples’ suites and leading skincare brands including 111SKIN, VOYA, Gaia and Tribe517
