Rutland’s The Barnsdale has unveiled details of its new Signet Spa, which will be opening its doors July 2024. The latest addition to The Signet Collection, The Barnsdale is a refined and revitalised 46-bedroom hotel at the heart of Rutland's beautiful countryside. A former hunting lodge has been reimagined, paying tribute to its history and distinctive local area. The opening of its new spa marks the completion of its transformation into a relaxed rural escape on the edge of Rutland Water.
Nestled amidst the hotel’s natural scenery, the new Signet Spa promises a rejuvenating oasis, designed to create a sense of calm and tranquillity. This unique outdoor sanctuary immerses guests in nature, with a heated outdoor pool, wood-fired hot tubs, an outdoor sauna, and a restorative treatment room - all offering stunning views.
In partnership with GAIA skincare products, offering a harmonious blend of premium natural ingredients, beneficial plant actives, and essential oils, guests can choose from a range of carefully crafted treatments - designed to awaken the senses, leaving them refreshed and renewed.
At the heart of the Signet Spa lies the Central Club House, a relaxed space where guests can unwind. Offering light refreshments, healthy smoothies, and hot drinks, like wild mint tea freshly picked from the hotel's kitchen garden, the Club House provides a peaceful environment to recharge in. It will also house the spa’s changing rooms, complete with plush dry robes and flip flops to be provided within all hotel rooms, allowing guests to move around the site in maximum comfort.
General Manager, Jonathan Carter-Morris, says: "We are thrilled to unveil our new Signet Spa and further enhance our facilities for guests to enjoy. With such a beautiful natural setting, it made sense to immerse our guests in nature, with this unique spa experience.”
Open daily from 8am to 8pm, hotel residents will be welcome to use the facilities throughout their stay, for optimal relaxation. Dedicated children’s hours will also allow families to enjoy the outdoor pool. The Signet Spa will also offer regular workshops and host expert guest practitioners for wellbeing.
