Excalibur Group has acquired SpaSeekers, one of the UK's longest-running spa booking platforms, further strengthening its position within the spa and wellness sector.
The deal follows Excalibur's acquisition of Spabreaks.com in October 2025. SpaSeekers will join the Group's portfolio of experience-led brands, which includes Wowcher, Spabreaks.com, 5pm, Things-To-Do and Superbreak.
Both SpaSeekers and Spabreaks.com will continue to operate independently, with their existing teams remaining in place. Excalibur says there will be no immediate changes to booking processes or partner arrangements, with initial investment focused on enhancing SpaSeekers' marketing and digital capabilities.
The acquisition brings together two established brands with complementary strengths. Spabreaks.com is known for its premium, experience-led approach, while SpaSeekers has built a strong consumer reach across the UK market.
George Oborne, CEO of Excalibur Group, said:
"The acquisition of Spabreaks.com unlocked double-digit year-on-year growth, and we'll be applying the same approach to SpaSeekers, which ultimately means fuller spas across the country."
Tamzin Silander, Managing Director of Spabreaks.com, described the move as "another positive moment for the spa sector" and said it would help support the wider industry's continued growth.
Abi Selby, Founder of Spabreaks.com and Chair of the UK Spa Association, added:
"This move is fundamentally about growth for the wider spa industry, combining scale, digital innovation and shared expertise to support venues big and small across the UK."
SpaSeekers Founder Jason Goldberg, who will step away from the business following the acquisition, said:
"Finding the right home for SpaSeekers really mattered to me, and Excalibur Group is absolutely the right partner to take it forward. I'm immensely proud of the team and everything we've built, and I'm excited to see SpaSeekers thrive in its next chapter."
Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
