Careys Manor Hotel & SenSpa has unveiled a £100,000 smart gym upgrade for 2026, introducing the area’s first smart gym powered by Technogym technology and offering a highly personalised, luxury-led approach to training and wellbeing.

At the heart of the gym is the pioneering Technogym Checkup Tool, an AI-driven system that generates a personalised ‘Wellness Age’ offering a complete snapshot of physical and cognitive health. By analysing and tracking key metrics, including mobility, strength and cardio fitness, the Checkup enables tailormade programmes designed to evolve with the individual, making training more intuitive, effective and motivating whatever the stage of the wellness journey.

The upgrade also features Technogym’s state-of-the-art 'Excite' cardio range, including the Excite Run Professional treadmill, Excite Synchro Professional cross trainer, Excite Bike Professional upright bike and Excite Recline recumbent bike, bringing elite level training into a luxurious setting.
