Ipswich’s Riverhills Health Club & Day Spa will unveil its extensively redeveloped spa on 5th May 2025, offering guests a luxurious new wellness experience. Ahead of the highly anticipated opening, Riverhills will launch its new website on 5th April 2025, allowing guests to explore the stunning transformation and secure spa day bookings.
Marking a significant milestone in its journey, this relaunch positions Riverhills as one of Suffolk’s premier luxury day spas, following a fire in 2023. With an investment of approximately £6 million, the redevelopment introduces state-of-the-art facilities designed to redefine relaxation and wellbeing. The grand reopening on 5th May 2025 also coincides with the 30th anniversary of Clarice House, Riverhills’ home, which will be celebrated with a special birthday party event on 27th April.
These new images showcase the stunning new treatment rooms and HaloSauna, with images of the pool and other thermal facilities available from the end of April.

Under the leadership of owner Dave Courteen, a renowned successful entrepreneur in the spa and health club industry, Riverhills has flourished into one of Suffolk’s premier health and wellness destinations since its acquisition in 2021. Following a devastating fire in June 2023 that damaged the swimming pool and wet facilities, Courteen and his team saw an opportunity to redefine and elevate the Riverhills experience.
