Ipswich’s Riverhills Health Club & Day Spa is pleased to announce the fourth phase of its extensive redevelopment plans: a full renovation of the changing room facilities, set to be completed by Christmas 2024.
This exciting update comes as part of Riverhills’ commitment to continually enhance member and guest experience and elevate the club’s status as one of Suffolk’s leading health clubs and luxury spa destinations. The full spa redevelopment is set to reopen in the spring of 2025.
As part of this investment, the changing rooms will be entirely redesigned to offer a more luxurious and comfortable environment for Riverhills 1,600 members and guests.
The newly upgraded facilities will include:
- Enhanced Bench and Seating Areas: More seating options will be added to provide greater comfort and convenience for guests preparing for their spa day or health club visit.
- Upgraded Showers: Brand new temperature-controlled showers will be installed, offering guests optimal relaxation based on individual preference.
- Underfloor Heating: The changing rooms will feature further underfloor heating to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere year-round.
- Improved Ventilation: The newly upgraded ventilation system will ensure fresh, clean air circulates throughout the space for added comfort and hygiene.
Dave Courteen, owner of Riverhills, commented on the renovation: "Our investment in the changing rooms is an important part of the overall transformation at Riverhills. We’re focused on creating an environment where our members and guests feel relaxed and looked after from the moment they arrive, and these changes will ensure that every part of their visit is a truly luxurious experience."
