Peebles Hydro has unveiled a refreshed spa experience, featuring a new partnership with premium Italian skincare brand Comfort Zone and a series of enhancements designed to elevate guest wellbeing.
The relaunch marks a new chapter for the Borders hotel, as the spa returns to in-house management by Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels, allowing for greater control over the guest experience and treatment offering.
At the heart of the refreshed spa is Comfort Zone, a globally recognised, B Corp-certified skincare brand known for its “conscious skin science” philosophy. Combining advanced dermatological research with natural-origin ingredients, the brand delivers clinically proven treatments designed to support both skin health and holistic wellbeing.
The partnership builds on an existing relationship between Crieff Hydro and Comfort Zone, with the brand already established at the group’s flagship resort in Perthshire. Its introduction at Peebles Hydro brings a new dimension to the spa experience in the Scottish Borders.

Guests can now enjoy a curated treatment menu ranging from 20 to 50 minutes, with prices starting from £20. Signature experiences include the UK’s first Tranquillity Head Spa – a multi-sensory treatment designed to nourish the scalp and hair while encouraging deep relaxation through aromatherapeutic techniques.
Another highlight is the Back, Face & Scalp with Himalayan Salt Massage, a restorative treatment combining a personalised facial with a signature back massage using warm Himalayan salt stones, leaving skin hydrated and guests feeling renewed.
Alongside the treatment menu, Peebles Hydro has introduced an enhanced spa layout, including a newly created reception area and reconfigured spaces designed to create a more seamless and relaxing guest journey.
The spa continues to offer a range of facilities, including a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub and gym, providing guests with a complete wellness experience.
The relaunch has also been supported by investment in staff training, with a team of five therapists and one receptionist fully trained in the new treatments to deliver a high-quality and consistent service.
