Nádúr Spa, located at Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa, is proud to announce the launch of its new Sensory-Sensitive Treatment. This innovative offering is specifically designed to provide a safe, calming, and therapeutic experience for adults living with neurological differences, ensuring their comfort and well-being are the highest priority.

This new treatment was developed in response to a growing need for inclusive wellness services. It allows clients to fully customise their experience by adding or eliminating specific sensory elements, empowering them to achieve a state of emotional regulation and deep relaxation. The team has been trained in specialised techniques that focus on adapting pressure and movements to individual preferences, creating a nurturing and respectful environment.

"We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the profound benefits of spa treatments in an environment that understands and respects their unique needs," said Gina Groves, Spa Manager. "Our new Sensory-Sensitive Treatment is a testament to our commitment to inclusivity and our desire to provide a truly safe space for our guests."

Exclusive features of the sensory-sensitive treatment include:

  • Calm Environment: The treatment takes place in an exclusive and serene space with muted lighting and soft acoustic sounds, carefully designed to eliminate harsh noises and bright lights.
  • Scented Sense: Guests can choose from a selection of gentle, natural scents or opt for non-scented products, allowing them to select aromas that promote calmness without overwhelming their senses.
  • Gentle Touch: The treatment incorporates Ground Wellbeing Therapy Dough. As the dough is squeezed and kneaded, it warms up and releases the calming scents of lavender, black spruce, and marjoram. This feature is designed to aid emotional regulation, encourage muscle memory, and stimulate the mind through scent-based memory recall.
  • Relaxation Aids: Guests will have exclusive access to The Cedar Suite relaxation room, along with the availability of headphones and personal temperature controls, to ensure their environment is perfectly tailored to their comfort.

Nádúr Spa’s new Sensory-Sensitive Treatment is now available for booking and welcomes a carer companion with each client.
