The UK’s most authoritative tourism guide awarded Moddershall Oaks this rating, highlighting its suites and breakfast service.
The rating is awarded by one of Visit England’s 50 trained assessors, who conduct unannounced ‘mystery shopper’ style inspections. Using strict criteria, they assess the quality of services and facilities provided to determine the appropriate star rating for each type of accommodation. Every detail is carefully reviewed, from the booking process and customer service to overall cleanliness, which is considered the most important factor.

Full Body Renewal: A top-to-toe ritual featuring full body exfoliation, nourishing back mask, sensual leg & foot massage, hot rock back massage, and the signature Moddershall facial.
Tailored to You: A fully customisable experience where guests select three elements from a premium menu, including: full body scrub, hot rock back, reflexology inspired foot massage and revitalising facial.
