Meraki Wellness has partnered with British spa uniform specialist Fashionizer Spa to create a bespoke therapist uniform collection designed to reflect the luxury wellness destination’s philosophy of “Wellness with Love”.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Peter and Shula Clarke, Meraki Wellness was born from more than 40 years of combined experience in the global wellness industry. Having retired and relocated to Mallorca, the couple were invited to visit Grand Cayman in 2018 to explore a new development at The Watermark. They quickly fell in love with the island and began bringing their vision for Meraki Wellness to life.
Meaning “to do something with soul, creativity and love”, Meraki became the guiding principle behind every aspect of the spa - including what its therapists wear.
From the outset, the Clarkes wanted the uniforms to be considered as an integral part of the spa’s identity, alongside its architecture, interiors, treatments and guest experience. Fashionizer Spa was brought into the project at an early stage, creating a collaborative design process that continued across thousands of miles between Grand Cayman and Fashionizer’s Richmond studio.
The resulting collection combines the comfort and freedom of sportswear with the understated elegance expected of a luxury wellness environment. Loose silhouettes allow therapists to move comfortably throughout their working day, while soft oatmeal tones and white detailing complement Meraki Wellness’ calm, natural aesthetic.
A small embroidered white heart on the back of each garment provides a subtle finishing touch, representing Meraki’s “Wellness with Love” philosophy and the founders’ belief in leaving a lasting “heart print” with every guest.
Peter and Shula also travelled to Fashionizer’s Richmond studio to review the first samples in person, working closely with the team to ensure the collection delivered on comfort, functionality and confidence as well as aesthetics.

The collaboration demonstrates how thoughtfully designed uniforms can become an integral part of a spa’s identity, supporting the guest experience while ensuring therapists feel comfortable, confident and connected to the brand they represent.
