Laceby Manor Expands Wellness Offering with New Indoor Padel and Golf Centre

Laceby Manor Resort has been granted planning permission for a new Indoor Padel and Golf Centre, further enhancing the resort’s appeal as a leading destination for luxury spa breaks, wellness escapes and restorative short stays.

The new development represents a significant investment in the wider guest experience, complementing Laceby Manor’s award-winning spa by offering additional opportunities for movement, relaxation and social connection during a spa stay. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the resort’s existing facilities, the centre will provide a modern, welcoming space for guests to enjoy light activity, leisure and downtime as part of a balanced wellness break.

Covering more than 1,000 square metres, the centre will include two indoor padel courts, modern changing facilities and a relaxed café environment, giving spa guests a sociable yet low-pressure way to stay active between treatments or alongside their spa itinerary. Padel’s accessibility and fun, inclusive nature make it an ideal complement to a wellness-focused stay, encouraging gentle exercise without compromising relaxation.

In addition to padel, the centre will feature enhanced golf practice and leisure facilities, a premium retail space and act as a new welcome and information hub for the resort. Importantly, the centre will be open to all guests, whether visiting specifically for a spa break, a longer wellness retreat or a short luxury escape, reinforcing Laceby Manor’s commitment to offering flexible, guest-led experiences.

Roger Burnett, Owner of Laceby Manor Resort, said: “Wellness is about more than treatments alone – it’s about how guests feel throughout their entire stay. This new Indoor Padel and Golf Centre will enhance the spa experience by giving our guests more choice in how they relax, move and socialise during their visit. It’s an exciting addition that complements our spa beautifully and adds even greater value to a Laceby Manor break.”

Construction is scheduled to begin in spring, with completion targeted for later in 2026. The resort has confirmed that local contractors will be used wherever possible, with the project expected to create new employment opportunities for the local area.
