Holmer Park Health Club & Spa in Hereford has launched a search for the area’s local heroes, inviting residents to nominate someone who deserves a little recognition and a well-earned break.
The initiative is open to anyone in the community, with potential nominees including NHS workers, carers, teachers, volunteers, friends or simply someone who has gone out of their way to help others. There are no specific criteria, with nominations centred on the reason someone deserves to be recognised. In October, the Holmer Park team will select three winners, with each receiving a complimentary spa day for themselves and a guest.
The prizes will give the winners an opportunity to step away from their usual responsibilities and enjoy time together at Holmer Park’s spa, set within the Herefordshire countryside.
Facilities include a thermal suite with a heated swimming pool, hydrotherapy spa pools, sauna and aroma steam rooms, alongside foot spas and an ice fountain. Relaxation lounges and poolside spaces provide areas to unwind between experiences.
The initiative reflects a wider role for spas within their local communities, extending beyond traditional treatments and experiences to recognise the people and organisations that support those around them.
Residents can nominate their local wellbeing hero by emailing the Holmer Park team at spamanager@holmerpark.co.uk by 30th September. Nominations should include the nominee’s name and a few words explaining why they deserve to be recognised.
