Ensana Hotels has expanded into Georgia with the opening of Ensana Sairme South, a new 4-star medical wellness property located in the mountain spa destination of Sairme.
The 154-room hotel marks the health spa operator's first property in Georgia and forms part of its wider expansion strategy focused on destinations with established natural therapeutic resources.
Located more than 900 metres above sea level in the Caucasus mountain region, Sairme has been recognised for more than 60 years for its thermal and mineral springs. The destination's natural resources form the foundation of Ensana's wellness approach, combining preventive health programmes, spa treatments and access to the surrounding landscape.

The hotel's wellness offering centres on the therapeutic use of local resources, including thermal waters traditionally used in treatments supporting musculoskeletal health. The region's carbonated mineral waters are also used for drinking cures associated with digestive, liver, urinary and kidney health.
A second Ensana property in Sairme, the 5-star Sairme North, is currently undergoing a comprehensive renovation. The project will include an expanded spa offering with indoor and outdoor pools, a hammam, salt grotto and updated treatment facilities.

Situated approximately three and a half hours from Tbilisi and close to Kutaisi International Airport, Sairme is accessible to international travellers while offering access to a wide range of outdoor activities including hiking, cycling and water-based experiences.
The launch reflects the continued growth of medical wellness tourism, with operators increasingly seeking destinations where natural resources, preventative health and nature-based experiences can be integrated into longer-stay wellness journeys.
