The Ensana Aquahouse in the Bulgarian spa town of St. Constantine and Helena has become the first hotel in the Greater Varna area to be recommended by the prestigious Michelin Guide.
The recognition highlights the five-star resort’s unique combination of contemporary luxury, a holistic health and wellness concept based on natural resources, and its beachfront location on the Black Sea. The listing marks a significant milestone for both Ensana and the city, which has developed into one of Southeast Europe’s leading year-round travel destinations in recent years.
The hotel complex, featuring 411 rooms, extends across an impressive 6,000 square metres, surrounded by shady pine trees and located directly on a 400-metre private beach. The spacious health spa, with almost a dozen indoor and outdoor pools, several saunas and steam baths, combined with the use of the local mineral-rich thermal waters and individually tailored health programmes, makes Ensana Aquahouse a unique retreat that goes far beyond traditional relaxation. Beside wellness and health, gastronomy also plays a crucial role.
The hotel’s five restaurants provide guests a diverse selection of international specialities, Asian and Italian classics, as well as dishes inspired by regional cuisine.
