Eha, Estonia’s highly anticipated new wellness retreat opening on Hiiumaa Island in summer 2026, is pleased to announce the appointment of Amber Gauci-Ward as General Manager.
A recognised leader in transformational wellness, Amber brings nearly two decades of experience across luxury hospitality, regenerative design and integrated wellbeing. Known for creating immersive, restorative guest experiences, she joins Eha at a strategic moment as the retreat prepares to redefine Nordic wellness on the global stage.
Set within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Hiiumaa, Eha offers a deeply nature-led approach to seasonal living, guided by five retreat programmes aligned with the island’s five-season rhythm. Designed for just 22 guests across eight suites and three forest cabins, the retreat pairs contemporary Nordic design with ancestral Estonian traditions, including thermal rituals, guided nature immersion and seasonal menus crafted by Green Michelin Star chef Peeter Pihel.
Amber’s appointment underscores Eha’s commitment to building a regenerative, community-centred wellness destination. Her international experience spans Australia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Canada, Malta and Gozo, with a skillset that bridges neuroscience, somatic practice, ancestral wisdom, biophilic design and operational innovation. She has launched and scaled wellness ventures in remote locations, led pre-opening execution for luxury wellness hotels, and advised global founders through her consultancy, Energy Atelier. Most recently, she oversaw launch execution for Verdala Wellness Hotel in Malta.
As General Manager, Amber will lead Eha’s operational launch, shape the guest experience strategy and support the retreat’s mission to deliver meaningful, nature-rooted transformation aligned with Estonia’s cultural heritage and Eha’s regenerative ethos.
