Country house hotel Down Hall has expanded its wellbeing offering with a new programme of overnight retreats, complementing the recently opened The Barn Spa at Down Hall.
Running throughout the spring and summer season, the retreats respond to growing demand for year-round wellness experiences, moving beyond the traditional “new year” reset. The programme combines restorative practices such as yoga and sound baths with mindful movement and spa relaxation.
A new Reformer Pilates Retreat introduces guided Pilates sessions focused on core strength, flexibility and alignment. The retreat includes an expert-led class at nearby fitness studio Rural Health & Fitness, followed by an overnight stay, breakfast and a morning yoga session.
Alongside this, the Sound Bath Weekend Retreat offers a slower-paced experience combining a short spa treatment, restorative yoga and an evening sound bath designed to promote relaxation. Guests also enjoy dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, The Potting Shed, before an overnight stay and morning yoga session.
The Reformer Pilates Retreat is priced from £135 per person, while the Sound Bath Weekend Retreat starts from £225 per person.
