Daniel Thwaite’s Spa Group kickstarts the beginning of the sparkling summer season, by creating a new overnight spa experience in collaboration with English sparkling wine producer, Nyetimber.
The new overnight spa break offers guests the opportunity to pamper and relax, fusing spa luxury with English wine elegance. In addition to working with the spa group’s product house TEMPLESPA, the package includes memorable souvenirs, for guests to continue their spa experience at home.
On arrival at their chosen Daniel Thwaites spa property, guests will find a 375ml half bottle of Nyetimber’s signature sparkling wine – Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage, chilled in the mini-fridge. Crowned one of the best English sparkling wines, Nyetimber’s Classic Cuvee blends Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier and is a perfect balance of elegance, complexity, and intensity, instantly transporting guests to the Nyetimber vineyards located in the heart of the countryside of Southeast England. It has distinctive toasty and spicy aromas with a palate of honey, almond, and baked apples, providing an intense yet delicate flavour. Furthermore, guests will receive a beautifully presented Nyetimber gift set to take home, which features a 750ml bottle of Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage, and two elegant Nyetimber glasses.
As part of the package, guests will be able to enjoy a 25-minute Express spa treatment and will receive a TEMPLESPA gift set allowing them to continue and extend the spa experience long after their visit. Following the treatment experience, guests are encouraged to take advantage of the hotel's spa facilities which include a large swimming pool, vitality pool, steam room, and sauna.
In addition, guests can enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail, before heading to the property’s onsite restaurant, where they will be served a delicious meal, with the allowance of £30 per person. After indulging at dinner, guest can be sure to enjoy a restful night’s sleep in one of the comfortable rooms and wake up to an inviting a la carte breakfast menu, offering elevated classics or a vast buffet selection.
Gemma Barratt, Group Spa Director at Daniel Thwaite’s Spa Group, commented: “We're absolutely thrilled to collaborate with Nyetimber on this exciting venture. Adding an award-winning English sparkling wine truly elevates the spa experience we offer. We hope our guests feel utterly spoiled after indulging in this unique combination of luxury and relaxation at our spa properties, from a combination of great British brands"
Brad Greatrix, Senior Winemaker at Nyetimber, said: “Our flagship Classic Cuvee, with its pale-golden hue and fine bubbles, is the perfect choice for any occasion at Daniel Thwaites, whether to toast a celebration or for moments of relaxation”.
The new overnight spa break package is available at the six nationwide spa hotels, as well as Middletons Hotel, a luxury York city centre hotel that offers the perfect opportunity for a city break or a weekend getaway (this location does not have an onsite spa so the treatment element is not included, however, guests can take home a TEMPLESPA gift).
