The UK Spa Association (UKSA) has appointed Bobby Griffiths as its new full-time General Manager, marking a significant step into a new era of transformation and progress for the spa organisation.
With extensive experience, including roles as Spa Manager at Dormy House and Armathwaite Hall, Griffiths brings over 29 years of expertise in luxury spa and hospitality to her new position. Having previously served on the UKSA board, Griffiths rejoins the team with a wealth of knowledge and a diverse background within the industry.
Beginning her career as a spa therapist at Ragdale Hall Spa, Griffiths has worked on various projects globally for esteemed brands such as Mandarin Oriental and ESPA International.
In her new role, Griffiths will oversee day-to-day operations, lead the board, and work closely with Chair Abi Selby to set the association's strategic direction. She will focus on enhancing membership benefits, fostering strategic partnerships, and addressing critical industry challenges like recruitment, therapist retention, and overall wellbeing.
Griffiths will assume her duties at UKSA starting March 5, ushering in a promising period of growth and development for the association.
