Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa has introduced a new Japanese-inspired Head Spa treatment, becoming one of the first spa destinations in the Lake District to incorporate this specialist scalp-focused therapy into its wellbeing offering.
Rooted in traditional Japanese techniques, the treatment centres on scalp health and relaxation, combining cleansing, exfoliation, steam therapy and massage to support circulation and overall hair condition.
The experience includes a multi-step approach designed to remove product build-up, stimulate the scalp and deliver hydration through targeted nourishing treatments.
The Head Spa has also been integrated into a broader treatment menu through a series of extended rituals combining the therapy with additional elements such as facial treatments, foot rituals and sound-based relaxation.
Positioned as part of the spa’s wider wellbeing strategy, the treatment reflects growing interest in holistic, sensory-led experiences that support both physical and mental restoration.
“The Armathwaite Head Spa offers a deeply holistic approach to wellbeing,” said Lorela Movileanu, Spa Manager at Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa “It’s designed to cleanse, detoxify and nourish both body and mind, creating a truly relaxing and rewarding experience that leaves our guests feeling revitalised. It’s the perfect addition to our spa menu and complements Armathwaite Hall’s philosophy to enhance guest wellbeing throughout their stay.”
