Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa, located in the Northern Lake District is delighted to announce the official opening of its newly reimagined restaurant, The Dining Room. Previously known as the Lake View Restaurant, this stunning transformation marks a new era of elegant yet welcoming fine dining in the heart of the Lake District.
With views out to the serene Bassenthwaite Lake, The Dining Room blends timeless sophistication with modern design. The space now features striking kidney-shaped royal blue banquette seating, an elegant, sculptural centrepiece that invites guests to relax and savour every moment. Intimate lighting and crisp tablecloths add to the refined, yet relaxed atmosphere.

The Executive Chef Christopher Lee has curated a new seasonal menu that celebrates the finest locally sourced ingredients, including Beef Wellington, Estate Lamb Loin and Dover Sole Fillets.
This unveiling follows a successful year of culinary expansion for Armathwaite Hall & Spa, which opened The Grill restaurant in December last year. Offering a more relaxed and contemporary dining option, The Grill has quickly become a favourite for guests seeking informal excellence. With the addition of The Dining Room, Armathwaite Hall now offers two distinct yet complementary dining experiences, further solidifying its reputation as a premier destination for food lovers in the Lake District.
