Champneys launches London Beauty College

Champneys has officially launched its London Beauty College with help from Hollywood actress and James Bond star Naomie Harris.

The college launched in partnership with the London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA). The aim is to develop and nurture London’s next generation of beauty talent and provide high-quality education to an even wider audience.

The Champneys College – based at the resort in Tring – was established in 1976 and is recognised as one of the UK’s leading beauty therapy training colleges. Looking to transfer that success into London, a collection of 12-week beauty courses will start in October 2017 at LCCA’s Holborn-based facility. LCCA specialises in multi-arts courses including fashion, design, photography, tourism, interior design, PR and media. The new beauty courses, which begin in October 2017, will provide an extension to that list.

‘In this, the 40th anniversary year of the Champneys College, we usher in another exciting landmark,’ said Rachel Halling, Champneys College Principal. ‘We’re taking the Champneys name to the Capital and building on what is already a renowned reputation.’

‘Partnering with London College of Contemporary Arts is only going to strengthen our commitment to developing the next generation of beauty specialists,’ added Rachel. ‘With strong employment possibilities for students, we’re hoping this partnership is the start of a very bright future for everyone involved.

‘It’s a collaboration of skills, expertise and industry know-how. We’re excited to open new possibilities and to continue the high standards that have already been set.’
